Supporting enterprise customers and channel partners transitioning from legacy Bosch Security Escort and Wi-Fi-based hospital duress systems to highly accurate BLE 5.1 and Bluetooth Direction Finding RTLS platforms

Gold Coast, Australia – Tuesday, 16 February 2026 – inTechnology Distribution is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Webb as Chief Commercial Officer, as the company accelerates growth across Real-Time Location Systems, mobile communications and clinical communication platforms.

Jason brings more than 20 years of ICT and telecommunications leadership experience across defence, mining, government and high-security environments in Australia, the UK and Europe. His background includes delivering secure communications infrastructure across Royal Air Force bases, Royal Navy facilities, Army sites and classified government estates, as well as leading advanced communication networks, Wi-Fi platforms and Real Time Location Systems across complex Australian mining operations.

This combination of secure infrastructure expertise and operational technology leadership positions Jason to support enterprise customers and channel partners navigating critical safety and communications upgrades.

With the BoschSecurity Escort platform reaching end of life, correctional services, healthcare facilities and other high-risk environments are actively reassessing their mobile duress strategies. The market is rapidly transitioning from Bosch Security Escort and Wi-Fi-based infrastructure toward scalable, software-driven platforms built on BLE 5.1 and Bluetooth Direction Finding.

Jason’s role will focus on guiding government and benterprise organisations through structured migration pathways from ageing duress infrastructure to next-generation RTLS platforms that deliver real-time location accuracy, mobile-first workflows and compliance-ready audit capability. At the same time, he will work closely with the channel to enable partners with technical clarity, commercial alignment and go-to-market support to capitalise on this significant transition opportunity.

“Jason joins us at a pivotal moment,” said Mark Winter, Chief Executive Officer of inTechnology Distribution. “The end of life of Bosch Security Escort creates both urgency and opportunity. Enterprise customers need a clear migration strategy, and our channel partners need strong technical and commercial support. Jason’s experience in secure, high-compliance environments makes him ideally placed to support both.”

His expertise across fibre networks, Wi-Fi, radio, digital communications and secure data environments gives him strong technical credibility, while his recent leadership delivering tracking systems and operational technology networks aligns directly with the evolution of modern mobile duress and location intelligence solutions.

Under this expanded enterprise focus, inTechnology will continue integrating BLE 5.1-based RTLS, enterprise mobility devices and intelligent alerting platforms into cohesive ecosystems that enhance staff safety, reduce response times and strengthen governance outcomes across healthcare and correctional facilities.

“In high-risk environments, safety and reliability are critical,” said Jason Webb. “The shift from legacy duress systems to BLE 5.1 and Bluetooth Direction Finding represents a major step forward. I’m looking forward to working alongside enterprise customers and channel partners to modernise these environments with scalable, future-ready solutions.”
